Moving makes your brain light up giving you more concentration, focus, and letting you see further. You also are more active and more enjoyable.
Balance ball chairs:
Bouncing helps you study better because your body is engaged as well as you mind. It also changes you body posture so you back becomes straighter and less curved.
Couches or bean bags:
A brain break is something that you do to give your brain a break from what you are doing. They help you learn because they give your brain a break so that when you get back to your work you brain is refreshed.
- A brain break that I like is called the pen flip. It's where you flip your pen in the air in one revolution in one hand, then the other hand, then both hands.
White boards:
I think that this is one of the healthiest rooms in the school. Some ideas that we recorded were typing while walking on a treadmill, jumping on a trampoline while throwing darts on to a dart board(helps in focus and aim), and having adjustable rolling chairs(chairs that roll and can go higher or lower which you can use while typing).
Standing shelves:
Standing benefits your body because your shoulders and spine aren't slumped, so your lungs breath better, your blood flows better, and your veins stretch less. This makes you a better human being.
