Research Based Argument essay

Dolphins are precious to the ocean and to land, they should not be harmed by humans

Do you want to see a dolphin die, after they saved a human? Maybe you don’t really understand, so think about this. Would you save a human drowning in the water? Well, most people would say yes and alert a lifeguard. Now, would you save an intelligent(almost as intelligent as a human) dolphin drowning in the water? Most people would say maybe but what could I do. You could alert a lifeguard - it’s not a human guard and life includes dolphins. Dolphins are very intelligent and don’t deserve to die because of humans. Dolphins are also very kind as I had mentioned earlier, they have saved humans before.

I think that dolphins are one of the most intelligent and kind creatures on earth for three reasons, they are easily trained, they save humans, and lastly their brain size is almost the same size as a human brain. The website Whales and Dolphins brain power says that Kelly, a dolphin kept in a research center for a while, has used fish as a bait and picks up any litter in her tank. As soon as she returns the litter in her tank to her trainer, she is rewarded with a fish. This shows that dolphins are very smart and like humans, sometimes need a bait to do things well. Humans too, sometimes need a bait like in my class we need to read eight genres. Most people wouldn’t read eight genres unless there is a reward, and our reward is to be able to enter the genre party. I think that dolphins are also very brave and kind because of an incident that occurred 10 years ago, Dolphins saving humans states that In 2004 a 10 foot great white shark was known to attack a group of people but a pod of dolphins circled the shark spinning round and round until the great white shark fled. This shows that dolphins are very kind and like people. This also shows that dolphins are very comfortable when close to humans as they have saved many people in many incidents. I think that dolphins are also very smart because they have such intelligent brains that their brains are the closest size and has the most information from all of the animals in their brain compared to a human. Understand dolphins intelligence and brain says that the dolphin brain is the closest size and most intelligent brain compared to the human brain. A dolphin’s brain has 4.2 mass and a humans brain has 7.0 mass. This shows the difference between both the brains. This also shows how intelligent the dolphin brain is.

I think that dolphins also play a huge part in the water and to humans. They play a huge part in the water by being on the top of the food pyramid. They play a huge part to humans by being a part of the U.S military. They play a huge part in the water and to humans by filling up water sources such as oceans and rivers.  Marine trophic pyramid says that dolphins are dolphins play a big part in the food cycle in the ocean by being on the top of the pyramid and being top carnivores. This shows the marine food pyramid and this also shows that dolphins are very important to the food cycle in the ocean. I think that dolphins play a huge part to humans by being on the U.S military. I think that they are confident and brave creatures to be doing this.  Dolphins in the military says that In 1960 dolphins were examined on how they swim to create boats that work that way. After some research they figured out that dolphins were way better than they thought they were. Soon dolphins carried bullets, guns, and other military equipment, as well as guard boats from underwater. This shows that dolphins can do things that humans can do. This also shows that dolphins might be able to do even more human jobs. They might even be better at it than us. Do you thinks so? I think that dolphins are also very useful in another way to humans and water by making rivers more lively and making boat rides more happy as most people would rather go on a boat ride to see dolphins rather than just see fish Where do dolphins live states that dolphins live in various rivers, streams, and oceans. It also says that dolphins live in every ocean besides the Arctic and Antarctic oceans. Dolphins reduce fish in many water resources and make them more lively. Dolphins also fill up streams and other water resources. This shows that dolphins are helping humans to go in the water more often and are helping making thing more enjoyable and happy. This also shows that dolphins make the water more pretty and fun.

I think that some people might argue with me so this is my counterclaim paragraphs for all of the critics who disagree with my essay. I think that critics argue that dolphins may be intelligent but they are of no use for clothes or fabric. While this might be true, dolphins still should be saved because they play a huge part in the water and they have played a huge part to humans. They were in the military! This shows that perhaps this is how we are going to pay back the dolphins for playing a part in the U.S military. We can pay back the dolphins by trying to save them from other humans. I think that some other people would still not be convinced so I think that others might say that dolphins are just like other animals and we don’t need them but I argue, dolphins are different, they are one of the top carnivores and their kindness has saved humans and even huge whales! This shows that dolphins are very nice. You might think that I’m exaggerating on how kind dolphins are but if you read my first paragraph, you would see that dolphins are the closest animals with intelligence to match the human brain.

Now you should definitely realize that dolphins should be here for good and should not be interacted by humans in a bad way. Humans should not misuse their power over animals including Dolphins. Dolphins don’t harm humans, so you don’t harm dolphins, it is despicably unfair. Go dolphins!
