Genius hour day 2 - The ancient art of Thailand

I have researched by using my mac book pro.

• I learnt that there are five different time periods of the art in Thailand.
• I learnt that in the Dvaravati time period in the 15th and 16th century a piece of art called the Mon wheel of law was made. 
• I saw how modern the art is now compared to the earliest period - the Dvaravati period.

I thought that my topic was too broad but I narrowed it down to how art has changed over different time periods.

My next step will be to research more about the different time periods.

Topic I am learning about: The ancient art of Thailand

Reason for why this is a good topic for me: It is a good project for me because I love anything to do with art. I love the country Thailand. Art is my favorite subject in school. I think that Thailand and art are both very interesting.

The materials that I will need that the school will provide: A laptop, and books from the library.

The steps that I will go through to complete this project are:
1. Research about the history of the ancient art of Thailand on the laptop.
2. Research on how to make and what materials I need to make the ancient art of Thailand using books and the laptop.
3. Start making the power point presentation or a poster board
4. Make the art with the help of step number 2.
5. Present my presentation or my poster board and art to the class.

My final product will be a power point presentation or a poster board and my art work.

How do I know what I know?

I knew some of the fifty states of America where I only knew Texas and New York because Texas is very big and New York is a very popular place so I searched it up and found out where it was located.

I knew some of the countries in Southeast Asia because I live in Southeast Asia so I wanted to find out where I lived.

I would like to know the fifty states of America by heart because it will then be much easier to answer a question about America using the fifty states. I would also be able to pronounce some of them properly.
